Six Features of Our Clinic

Six Features of Our Clinic

1. Specialized in Root Canal Treatment

Our director is a specialist certified by the Japan Endodontic Association and participates in numerous international seminars and conferences on root canal treatment, allowing patients to receive endodontic treatment at a global standard.

Precision root canal treatment (micro-endodontics) allows for more reliable treatment compared to general root canal treatment, and even in difficult conditions such as "fracture," "not healing," or "extraction," there is a possibility of preserving your own teeth.

2. Precision Treatment Using a Microscope

By using a microscope (dental microscope) for almost all procedures, high-precision treatment is possible under magnified vision, allowing for more careful and reliable treatment.
At the same time, it is possible to record the state during treatment, so you can clearly confirm what kind of treatment you received.

3. Specializing in Aesthetic Treatment

With minimal cutting such as direct bonding, high durability and aesthetic treatment is possible.
Additionally, for crowns such as ceramics, we collaborate with technicians to provide aesthetically superior treatment that harmonizes with natural teeth and surrounding teeth.

4. Preventive Dentistry

No matter how good the treatment is, if the bacteria causing cavities and periodontal disease in the mouth are not controlled, it can lead to re-treatment due to cavities or periodontal disease, or even tooth loss. We focus on prevention to ensure proper oral care both before and after treatment at the clinic, as well as at home.

5. Collaboration with Specialists

While many dental clinics handle general treatment, our clinic collaborates with university hospitals, orthodontic specialists, periodontal specialists, implant specialists, oral and maxillofacial pain specialists, oral surgeons, and other medical institutions to ensure diagnosis and treatment that do not disadvantage patients as much as possible.

Our Treatment Philosophy

At Hiro Yokohama Dental, about 75% of teeth that were said to require extraction at other clinics were preserved.

Our treatment philosophy at Hiro Yokohama Dental is based on the three pillars of [Prevention, Non-extraction, Painless], and we approach treatment as a united team.

First, we perform preventive measures to ensure that cavities and periodontal disease do not occur again. We then preserve natural teeth as much as possible through root canal treatment. If the teeth cannot be preserved, we perform partial orthodontics to compensate for the lost parts. Alternatively, we transplant wisdom teeth to compensate for the lost parts.
Only when these measures are insufficient do we perform implant treatment.

About Hiro Yokohama Dental

We opened in March 2009. Yokohama Station is served by eight lines and ranks fourth in Japan in terms of passenger numbers, making it easy for patients to gather and staff to commute, which is why we chose this location.

Additionally, since many patients come through referrals from dentists for micro-endodontic treatment (root canal treatment), which is my specialty, I thought a location with many dental clinics would be ideal.

We have a particular focus on the design of the clinic. I personally do not like the typical hospital image, so we have large windows for a sense of openness and no reception counter. We also choose materials and drugs with minimal odor, and use treatment equipment that does not make the "whining" sound, to ensure comfort.
