The Secrets of Precise Endodontic Treatment at Our Clinic
Microscope
The treatment can be magnified 20 times to see the tooth during treatment.
The Effect of the Microscope
In a magnified field of view, it is possible to perform more precise and reliable treatment.
In endodontic treatment, the inside of the root canal, which cannot be seen under the naked eye, can be magnified and viewed directly, allowing for more reliable treatment of complex root shapes and removal of infection sources.
Rubber Dam
A device that fixes a rubber sheet to the tooth using a clamp-like tool. The rubber sheet isolates the tooth being treated from the rest of the mouth. This is called moisture control, and it is a very important procedure in root canal treatment, which is an infectious disease, to prevent reinfection during treatment and to prevent chemicals from flowing into the mouth.
The Effect of the Rubber Dam
Bacteria are invisible. It can reliably prevent saliva and bacteria from entering the treated tooth, greatly reducing the risk of treatment failure and retreatment.
It also prevents the chemicals used in treatment from leaking into the mouth, and ensures that debris and rinsing fluids do not accumulate in the oral cavity, allowing for safe treatment.
If Not Used
Saliva may interfere during treatment, increasing the risk of treatment failure and recurrence. If treatment chemicals leak, they may cause burns to the mucous membranes or an unpleasant taste.
Risks Associated with Treatment
Root canal treatment may temporarily increase pain due to the effects of treatment.
